Clean Globe Gulf signs an oil spill response agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)

Clean Globe Gulf, part of Clean Globe International, entered into a five year oil spill response agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), the major exploration and production company in the Sultanate.

Clean Globe Gulf (CGG) and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) have signed a Tier 2 level agreement for oil spill response services. Clean Globe Gulf, the largest oil spill response organization in the Gulf region, is proud to include PDO as one of their cornerstone clients in the area.

Mr. Kirk Davis, General Manager of CGG, welcomes the PDO decision to choose CGG as a service provider for this challenging and important responsibility. Currently Clean Globe Gulf has three oil spill response centers in Oman to provide fast and professional response in a environmental crisis situation.

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is the major exploration and production company in the Sultanate. It accounts for more than 80% of the country's crude-oil production and nearly all of its natural-gas supply. The Company is owned by the Government of Oman (which has a 60% interest), the Shell Group (which has a 34% interest), Total (which has a 4% interest) and Partex (which has a 2% interest). Gas fields are operated by PDO exclusively on behalf of the Omani Government.
